Our Team

Scott Verbus is a tech entrepreneur with a passion for innovation and service. Originally from southwestern Pennsylvania, he established his career in Columbus, Ohio, in the late 1990s. As a veteran “IT Guy,” Scott founded the Linear family of companies, driven by a commitment to client success. Outside of work, he enjoys a wellness-focused lifestyle and has a passion for old muscle cars, actively participating in local car groups. When he relaxes, Scott enjoys bourbon and scotch, finding balance in the fast-paced tech industry.

Lesley Verbus is a scientist turned businesswoman with a focus on technology and community. Originally from Miami, she moved to Ohio for her studies in Physics, Computer Science, and English at the University of Dayton. As a co-leader of several tech companies alongside her husband, Scott, she is also dedicated to community engagement in Union County, serving on various boards and committees to promote small businesses and public involvement. Lesley values a balanced life, enjoying fitness and exploring new cuisines through travel.

Scott and Lesley live in Marysville, Ohio, embracing a life of work and enjoyment together.

About Linear 1 Technologies

Based in Central Ohio, we opened our doors in 2017 to provide tech support and network solutions to small and medium-sized businesses around the greater Central Ohio region with focuses in Columbus and Dublin.

We acquired a telecom and ISP company in early 2020. This allowed us to expand our offerings to include voice communication services and fiber and broadband internet solutions.

We were then able to open a brick-and-mortar storefront in Marysville, Ohio, with a focus on computer repair and retail. We also acquired a second company to round out our computer repair service offerings and expand our customer area.

Towards the end of 2020, we acquired another MSP in Central Ohio and were able to grow to our strongest position yet! This move allows us to better serve our clients day in and day out.

Obtaining Voice Services, Fiber, Broadband Internet Solutions

Linear completed its first acquisition – a telecom and ISP company, Planet 1 Networks. Linear was able to expand its offerings to now include voice services and fiber and broadband internet solutions.

Late 2021

Managed Service Provider in Central Ohio

Additional growth with the acquisition of Tech Associates, another MSP in Central Ohio. The talent and technology associated with this move generated systems and processes that are benefiting the company and its clients day after day.
